I promise never to abandon this puppy, or surrender it to a shelter, rescue or pet store. If I can ever no longer keep my dog, I will contact Diamond Chihuahuas first and return it to you, as set out in the puppy contract.

Adoption Application Questions

Does sending an application commit me to buying a puppy?

No. The application is free and does not commit you to anything. It tells us about you and your home so we can suggest the right puppy and answer your questions. Nothing is paid until you choose a puppy and we have both agreed it is a good match.

Why do you ask for my address and home details?

We want to know where our puppies are going. Your address tells us whether pickup or flight delivery makes sense, and the questions about your home, other pets and experience help us match the right puppy, especially teacup size puppies that need extra care.

What happens after I apply?

We read every application ourselves and contact you within 24 hours. We talk through the puppy you chose, your questions and how your puppy would come home. If you are approved, a deposit holds your puppy under our written deposit policy until go-home day.
