We are a small home breeder, not a data company. This page explains what you share with us when you apply for a Chihuahua puppy, why we need it, and how to have it deleted.

What Our Adoption Application Collects
When you fill in our Chihuahua adoption application or contact form, we ask for:
- Your name, phone number and email address.
- Your home address, so we can plan pickup or delivery and confirm where the puppy will live.
- Home details: your home type, other pets, your experience with dogs, and the care promises you agree to.
- The puppy you are applying for, how it will come home, how soon you want it, and anything else you choose to tell us.
We do not ask for your Social Security number, date of birth or card numbers on this website, and you should never send them to us.
Why We Ask for It
We read every application ourselves to decide whether a puppy is a good match for your home. A 3-pound Chihuahua is a poor fit for a house with a toddler and two large dogs, and we would rather say so early. We also use your contact details to reply within 24 hours, send litter updates you asked for, and keep a record of who owns each of our puppies so we can honor our health guarantee and the return clause in our puppy contract.
Who Sees Your Information
Only us. Form submissions pass through our own website, where they are stored securely on our web host and emailed to us. Payment details are handled by PayPal or our card payment provider and never stored by us. We may share your name and contact details with the airline when we fly your puppy to you, and with our vet only if needed for your puppy's care. We will disclose information if the law requires it.
We Do Not Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with other breeders, advertisers or marketing lists.
How Long We Keep It
If you are not placed with a puppy, we delete your application after [12 months]. If you buy a puppy, we keep your contact details and contract for the life of the dog, because the return clause and health records depend on it. Emails and texts are kept in our normal inbox and phone.
Cookies and Analytics
This site does not use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or third-party analytics. We count visits with our own simple counter: it records which pages are viewed, the website that sent you here and whether you are on a phone or computer. It does not store your IP address or set cookies, and visitors are counted with an anonymous code that changes every day, so the counts cannot identify you.
How to See, Correct or Delete Your Information
Email contact@diamondchihuahuas.com with the subject line "Privacy request" and tell us what you want: a copy of what we hold, a correction, or deletion. We will reply within [30 days]. We may keep a signed contract and payment record where we are required to for tax or legal reasons, and we will tell you if that applies. Residents of states with their own privacy laws have these rights as described by that law.
Children
This website is meant for adults. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top. Major changes will be emailed to current applicants.
