We are a family breeder in Central Texas, and North Carolina families buy from us for one reason: they want a puppy from the people who bred it, not from a middleman. Every puppy on this page was born in our home to one of our own AKC registered females. We were there when it was born, we have weighed it every morning since, and we can tell you which of its littermates it plays with and which it pushes off the food bowl.

Chihuahua for Sale in NC: Flown to You or Collected

You have two options, and either way you or someone you trust meets us in person.

We fly your puppy to you. One of us takes a seat with your puppy in a soft carrier under it, lands at your airport and meets you in arrivals. We spend time with you there going over feeding, potty training and the signs of low blood sugar, and you leave with the puppy, its vet record, microchip number and AKC paperwork.

Someone collects for you. A friend or relative who is in Texas can collect from our home by appointment. They meet the mother and get the same walkthrough you would.

Chihuahua Puppies for Sale in Charlotte and Raleigh-Durham

If you are in the mountains around Asheville or down on the coast near Wilmington, a two hour drive to Charlotte or Raleigh-Durham is often easier on the puppy than a second flight.

Teacup Chihuahua Puppies in North Carolina Weather

North Carolina gives a Chihuahua both extremes. Summers in Charlotte and the Triangle are hot and humid, so walk early and keep your puppy off the afternoon pavement. Winters in the Piedmont are mild most days but bring cold snaps, and the mountains get real snow. A smooth coat puppy will want a sweater from December to February, while a long coat copes a little better. Humidity also matters for tear staining on light coated puppies. A quick daily wipe under the eyes with a damp cloth keeps a white or cream face clean.

What We Look for in a North Carolina Home

Because we will not see your home before go-home day, our adoption application asks the questions we would otherwise ask at the door: who is home during the day, whether there are larger dogs, and whether you have had a puppy before. A teacup size puppy needs small meals four to five times a day at first, so someone needs to be around for the first few weeks. That is the one thing we will not compromise on.
